Volume Comparison

Curosurf is the most concentrated surfactant available in the United States.
Less volume of Curosurf is required for initial and repeat dosing than with Infasurf^® or Survanta^®.
Unlike other surfactants, repeat doses of Curosurf are only 50% of the initial doses.
Clinical studies have not evaluated if low volume results in superior safety or efficacy on clinically relevant endpoints.

Curosurf offers longer dosing intervals (12 hours) than Survanta.
Less time devoted to administering surfactant therapy leaves more time for other critical tasks in neonatal care.
